Summer Storms

This was a summer storm in Oklahoma. We kept waiting, watching and praying that we wouldn't see a tornado sprout from it. WHEW! Luckily we didn't, but it was a pretty AMAZING storm with great big hail stones and fierce winds.

World's largest tortoise

These amazing creatures are officially called Galapagos Tortoise they weigh 661 lbs.

It was incredible to watch them move! They are just HUGE!!!

Picture a day idea

So I have wanted for the past year to start a blog using just pictures. I would like to post something amazing to me everyday. It may be my children, a place or something just simple I happen to stumble upon in my going abouts each day.
I'm hoping to use it to improve my photography skills also. I'm thinking I may give myself a series of words some weeks and take a picture to depict that word. So let's just see how this goes and if I'm able to keep up with this and everything else I have on my plate for this upcoming year.
